Funnelling water from a minor leak

This innovative solution was sparked when a minor leak was detected in the plastic shrink-wrapping over a long wet weekend.

Encapsulating asbestos with the help of Apache
Typically when someone in the building industry sees a plastic sheet under a building they automatically think it’s been placed as a moisture barrier! Well, think again, as in this situation the Apache sleeve is being used in tandem with a 250-micron plastic sheeting as a form of encapsulation under a classroom where there are historically broken asbestos fragments from when it was constructed. The fragments have been embedded into the soil and due to the confined space of how low the building is to the ground, it was decided that encapsulation was the most cost-effective solution. The Apache’s were the ultimate solution for sealing around the timber piles and the groundsheet.
